Following last year's success, the Ottawa Orchid Society will hold its 40th annual show and sale, Orchidophilia, at Algonquin College next Saturday, April 27, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 28, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The 15 local and international vendors and more than 20 orchid exhibitors are expected to attract more than 2,500 visitors over the weekend. You will also find ikebana and photo exhibitions, workshops and more. Whether you are an orchid expert, novice or just love flowers this is the place to be, but be aware that you are likely to leave with more plants than planned.
